Adia Barnes

Adia Oshun Barnes (born February 3, 1977) is an American retired professional women's basketball player. Barnes played in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) with the Houston Comets. She has played seven seasons in the WNBA, from 1998-2004. During that period of time, she has also played with the Seattle Storm, Minnesota Lynx, and Sacramento Monarchs. She is an alumna of the University of Arizona. She has scored the most points in school history with 2,237. She also played internationally with Dynamo Kiev in the Ukraine.

Barnes grew up in San Diego, California and attended Mission Bay Senior High School in San Diego.[1]

In October 2010, Barne was named Director of Player and Coach Development at Seattle Academy.[2]
